INTO THE BODY

May 14–16, 2027 Groundworks Space Shawangunk Ridge
A weekend to move, breathe, rest + reconnect

Come exactly as you are.

We are so excited to invite you to a nourishing weekend retreat at the beautiful Groundworks Space in Gardiner, New York, nestled beneath the Shawangunk Ridge, about two hours north of New York City.

We’ll step away from the pace of everyday life and gather in community for a weekend devoted to movement, connection, play, rest, and restoration.

Together we’ll explore Vinyasa yoga, somatic movement, mindfulness, breath, and embodied practices through a lens of curiosity rather than perfection. You can expect thoughtful, dynamic movement alongside spaciousness, nature, nourishing food, optional Thai massage, and meaningful connection.

Come if you’re craving a reset, moving through a season of change, or simply wanting a few days to slow down, feel more present, and reconnect with yourself and others.

No experience is required beyond a willingness to be curious.

The experience

A rhythm, not a rigid schedule.

Friday evening begins with yoga and a simple opening offering. Saturday includes two practices with generous space between them for rest, nature, conversation, sauna, hot tub, food, and optional bodywork. Sunday closes with a final morning class and offering before departure.

You do not need to be flexible. You do not need an advanced yoga practice. You do not need to know anything about somatics. You only need to arrive with curiosity.

Lindsay + Isaac

“Having known and worked together since 1999, we bring more than two decades of friendship, movement practice, collaboration, and shared experience to this retreat.”
Lindsay Lee Lindsay practicing yoga

Lindsay Lee

With a BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase and years of experience performing and teaching movement in New York City, Lindsay brings a refined eye for alignment, intelligent sequencing, and embodied movement to every class.

She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training through Kula Yoga Project under Nikki Vilella and Schuyler Grant, and has taught yoga internationally, including group classes, workshops, and private events in Croatia. She is also currently continuing her education through Somatic Experiencing International, deepening her study of the nervous system, embodiment, and somatic awareness.

Her teaching blends strong, sweaty, alignment based Vinyasa with somatic awareness, breath, and mindful presence. Expect creative sequencing that builds strength, mobility, balance, and resilience while cultivating a deeper dialogue with the body.
